Jack Curtis remembers his father Earl Curtis, talking about visiting hisgrandfather Botkins farm out in Ruth Kentucky as a boy. Earl oftenremembered his grandfather Botkin as a taskmaster, working him hard onthe farm visits when he was a small boy say of the age of about 12 yearsold. Jack remembers Earl saying that one time he got so tired ofworking so hard on the farm upon visiting out there that he and hisbrothers walked all the way back into Somerset home.spouse: Hunt, Mary C. Jack Curtis said that the Kenwick Hotel was at the end of Main Street inSomerset in the 90 degree turn before going down the hill toward the oldSomerset Mill.
